Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Lead – Talent Sourcing to join our recruitment team and manage the first stage of our recruiting process for our security cleared business areas.

The role would include using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates, discussing our roles in detail and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. If you have solid networking skills, know how to source on social media and enjoy learning about different roles, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

  • Network and interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Build long-lasting relationships with hiring managers to determine position requirements
  • Conduct targeted research into companies and sectors to find candidates with relevant skill sets and qualifications.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of SNC Lavalin business areas, especially around project activity, our internal businesses and culture to ensure candidates have a clear understanding of our business.
  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques and present the most qualified candidates based on in depth analysis and appraisal against the specification.
    Develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool for future hiring needs
  • Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, are invited to interviews, are offered and hired
  • Communicate with previous applicants / employees regarding new job opportunities
  • Represent our employee brand in all external communications
  • Build and maintain industry, competitor and talent knowledge and intelligence

Requirements and skills:

  • Well-versed in all aspects of candidate attraction, including creative candidate sourcing, candidate generation and development and client management.
  • Excellent communicating skills, both written and verbal.
    Ability to attract first-rate talent and to ensure lasting and successful placements.
    Excellent knowledge of area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices).
  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
  • Clients focus along with relationship building skills.

  • Results orientated.
  • Previous experience of recruiting in the Defence, Security or Intelligence sector would be beneficial
  • Preferably strong track record with In-House recruitment teams, although relevant recruitment agency backgrounds will be considered
