Overview of the role
Assist the BP&A team in Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting, Financial Analysis, Contingency Planning, Automation, Projects, and Administration
What you will do
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist the BP&A Brand Finance Team to manage the Strategic Plan, Budget, and Forecasts
- Accurate and timely completion of planning responsibilities
Reporting, Financial Analysis, Contingency Planning
- Assist the BP&A Brand Finance Team to follow up, prepare and circulate regular and adhoc reports and financial analysis on a timely manner
- Accurate and timely completion of reporting responsibilities
Automation / Projects
- Assist the BP&A Brand Finance Team to follow up, prepare and circulate regular and adhoc reports and financial analysis on a timely manner
- Accurate and timely completion of automation / project responsibilities
Administration
- Provide administrative support to Brand Finance Head and Team
- Provide required support on a timely manner
Skills
Required Skills to be successful
- You should have strong commercial awareness and the ability to drive business performance.
- Strong understanding and application of corporate finance tools, techniques, and analysis, as well as forecasting, budgeting, and planning techniques.
- Excellent analytical & presentation skills who want to further their career into the Business Planning and Analysis team.
- Knowledge of accounting software packages, preferably ERP such as SAP
What Equips you for the role
- The successful candidate should be a qualified Accountant with minimum 4 years of experience in relevant roles.
- The candidate should have adequate working knowledge of budgeting, financial / management reporting in Middle East preferably in retail sector.
- Good working knowledge of other MS office packages, Advance level of Excel is essential.
