**Position Purpose:**

The Senior ERP System Specialist is responsible for the effective implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a primary focus on Oracle, while ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the supporting IT infrastructure. This role provides critical support to business operations through system integration, robust data management practices, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **ERP System Management (Oracle Focus):** Responsible for the full ERP system lifecycle, including implementation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and security management, ensuring alignment with established business requirements. Will develop customized solutions and integrate ERP systems with other applications and platforms. Lead the design, development, and implementation of tailored ERP solutions to meet specific organizational needs. Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant industry standards. Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to ensure optimal efficiency. Provide technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and serve as a primary point of contact for user inquiries. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and mentorship to end-users and junior ERP specialists, promoting effective system utilization. Remain current with the latest ERP features and industry trends, providing recommendations for system enhancements. Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including IT, finance, and other relevant departments, to optimize ERP system performance and functionality. Prepare and deliver accurate and timely reports and analyses based on ERP data, supporting informed decision-making. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date system documentation, encompassing configurations, customizations, and user manuals.

* **Business Process Analysis:** Collaborate with key stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify opportunities for improvement through the effective utilization of ERP systems. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage ERP development projects in alignment with overarching organizational objectives.

* **IT Infrastructure Support:** Assist in the planning, design, and configuration of IT infrastructure, with a focus on optimizing system stability and performance. This includes experience with Azure cloud services and Office 365 administration. Configure and troubleshoot network components, including firewalls (FortiGate), routers, Cisco switches, and servers. Oversee VPN (SSL, IPsec) configurations and VOIP systems. Manage local on-prem servers (vSphere ESXI, Hyper-V), ensuring robust server performance and uptime. Administer core IT services, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WSUS, and other critical infrastructure components. Monitor infrastructure health and performance utilizing monitoring tools such as PRTG, proactively addressing identified issues. Maintain and optimize backup strategies (Veeam) and network storage solutions (QNAP NAS).

* **System Administration:** Manage and administer SAP B1 ERP systems and facilitate their integration with other business applications. Oversee MS365 Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Active Directory synchronization, ensuring seamless communication across systems.

* **Continuous Improvement & Compliance:** Ensure IT and ERP systems adhere to industry standards, maintaining data security and compliance with all relevant regulations. Support the organization’s ISO certification process by ensuring IT infrastructure and ERP systems meet the required standards. Drive the continuous improvement of ERP systems and IT infrastructure by recommending and implementing new technologies as appropriate. Ensure the proper maintenance of assets and IT documentation, including accurate tracking of changes and configurations.

* **Data Management & Reporting:** Manage all aspects of ERP data, including input, processing, and output, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Collaborate with internal teams to generate accurate and timely reports based on ERP data to support effective decision-making processes.
