Job Description:**JOB PURPOSE:**

The Senior ERP System Specialist is responsible for the effective implementation and optimization of ERP systems, concurrently maintaining the stability and security of the IT infrastructure. This role supports business operations through system integration, data governance, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**

**I. ERP System Expertise (Oracle Focus):**

* Implement and configure ERP systems in accordance with established business requirements.
* Manage the complete ERP system lifecycle, including upgrades, patching, and security protocols.
* Develop custom solutions and integrate ERP systems with external applications and platforms.
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of ERP solutions tailored to specific business requirements.
* Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
* Conduct routine system audits and performance evaluations to ensure optimal efficiency.
* Provide technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and first-line support to end-users.
* Provide Training and mentorship to end-users and junior ERP specialists to promote effective system utilization.
* Maintain current knowledge of emerging ERP features and industry trends to recommend system enhancements.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across IT, finance, and other departments to optimize ERP system performance and functionality.
* Prepare and present reports and analyses derived from ERP data to ensure accurate reporting.
* Maintain comprehensive system documentation, encompassing configurations, customizations, and user manuals.

**II. Business Process Analysis:**

* Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit business requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify opportunities for improved efficiency through ERP systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage ERP development projects that align with organizational objectives.

**III. IT Infrastructure Support:**

* Contribute to the planning, design, and configuration of IT infrastructure, focusing on optimizing system stability and performance.
* Demonstrate familiarity with Azure cloud services and Office 365 administration.
* Configure and troubleshoot network components, including firewalls (FortiGate), routers, Cisco switches, and servers.
* Oversee VPN (SSL, IPsec) configurations and VOIP systems.
* Manage local on-prem servers (vSphere ESXI, Hyper-V), ensuring robust server performance and uptime.
* Administer core IT services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WSUS, and other infrastructure components.
* Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools such as PRTG, proactively addressing identified issues.
* Maintain and optimize backup strategies (Veeam) and network storage solutions (QNAP NAS).

**IV. System Administration:**

* Manage and administer SAP B1 ERP systems and integrate them with other business applications.
* Oversee MS365 Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and AD synchronization, ensuring seamless communication across systems.

**V. Continuous Improvement & Compliance:**

* Ensure IT and ERP systems adhere to industry standards and maintain data security and compliance.
* Participate in the organization’s ISO certification process, ensuring IT infrastructure and ERP systems meet all relevant standards.
* Drive the continuous improvement of ERP systems and IT infrastructure, recommending and implementing new technologies as appropriate.
* Ensure assets and IT documentation are meticulously maintained, including accurate tracking of changes and configurations.

**VI. Data Management & Reporting:**

* Oversee ERP data input, processing, and output, ensuring data integrity.
* Collaborate with internal teams to generate accurate and timely reports based on ERP data to support informed decision-making.
