**Job Purpose:**

The Senior ERP System Specialist is responsible for the effective implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, while ensuring the stability and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role supports business operations through system integration, data management, and the proactive identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

* **ERP System Expertise (Oracle Focus):**
* Implement and configure ERP systems in accordance with established business requirements and best practices.
* Manage the complete ERP system lifecycle, including upgrades, patches, and security protocols.
* Develop and implement customizations and integrations between the ERP system and other relevant applications and platforms.
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of tailored ERP solutions to address specific organizational needs.
* Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
* Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
* Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and first-line assistance to end-users.
* Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and junior ERP specialists to promote effective system utilization.
* Maintain current knowledge of emerging ERP features and industry trends to recommend and implement strategic improvements.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, Finance, and other departments, to optimize ERP system performance and functionality.
* Prepare and deliver reports and analyses based on ERP data to support informed decision-making processes.
* Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configurations, customizations, and user manuals.
* **Business Process Analysis:**
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify areas for improvement through the application of ERP system capabilities.
* Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage ERP development projects that align with organizational objectives.
* **IT Infrastructure Support:**
* Assist in the planning, design, and configuration of IT infrastructure, with a focus on optimizing system stability and performance.
* Demonstrate familiarity with Azure cloud services and Office 365 administration.
* Configure and troubleshoot network components, including firewalls (FortiGate), routers, Cisco switches, and servers.
* Oversee Virtual Private Network (VPN) configurations (SSL, IPsec) and Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) systems.
* Manage local on-premise servers (vSphere ESXI, Hyper-V), ensuring robust server performance and uptime.
* Administer core IT services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WSUS, and other critical infrastructure components.
* Monitor infrastructure health and performance using monitoring tools such as PRTG, proactively addressing potential issues.
* Maintain and optimize backup strategies (Veeam) and network storage solutions (QNAP NAS).
* **System Administration:**
* Manage and administer SAP B1 ERP systems, facilitating their integration with other relevant business applications.
* Oversee MS365 Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and AD synchronization to ensure seamless communication and data consistency across systems.
* **Continuous Improvement and Compliance:**
* Ensure IT and ERP systems adhere to relevant industry standards and maintain data security and compliance requirements.
* Assist in the organization’s ISO certification process, ensuring that IT infrastructure and ERP systems meet the required standards.
* Drive the continuous improvement of ERP systems and IT infrastructure, recommending and implementing new technologies as appropriate.
* Ensure that assets and IT documentation are well-maintained, including proper tracking of changes and configurations.
* **Data Management and Reporting:**
* Manage ERP data input, processing, and output, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
* Collaborate with internal teams to generate accurate and timely reports based on ERP data to support informed decision-making.
