**Job Title:** Senior ERP System Specialist

**Job Purpose:**

The Senior ERP System Specialist is responsible for the effective implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, while ensuring the stability and security of the organization’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. This role supports business operations through system integration, data management, continuous improvement initiatives, and adherence to relevant compliance standards.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

* **ERP System Management (Oracle Focus):**
* Implement and configure ERP systems in accordance with documented business requirements.
* Oversee the entire lifecycle of ERP systems, including upgrades, patching, and security protocols.
* Develop customized solutions and integrate ERP systems with other applications and platforms to enhance functionality.
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of ERP solutions tailored to meet specific business needs.
* Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to optimize efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
* Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and first-line assistance to end-users, resolving system-related issues promptly.
* Train and mentor end-users and junior ERP specialists on effective system utilization and best practices.
* Maintain current knowledge of emerging ERP features and industry trends, recommending improvements to enhance system performance.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, Finance, and other departments, to optimize ERP system performance and functionality.
* Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and analyses based on ERP data to support informed decision-making.
* Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configurations, customizations, and user manuals, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

* **Business Process Analysis:**
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify opportunities for ERP system improvements to enhance efficiency.
* Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage ERP development projects that align with organizational objectives and strategic initiatives.

* **IT Infrastructure Support:**
* Participate in the planning, design, and configuration of IT infrastructure, focusing on optimizing system stability and performance.
* Demonstrate familiarity with Azure cloud services and Office 365 administration.
* Configure and troubleshoot network components, including firewalls (e.g., FortiGate), routers, Cisco switches, and servers, to ensure optimal network performance.
* Oversee Virtual Private Network (VPN) configurations (SSL, IPsec) and Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) systems.
* Manage local on-premise servers (e.g., vSphere ESXI, Hyper-V), ensuring robust server performance and uptime.
* Administer core IT services, such as Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Group Policy, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), and other infrastructure components.
* Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools like PRTG, proactively addressing potential issues to minimize disruptions.
* Maintain and optimize backup strategies (e.g., Veeam) and network storage solutions (e.g., QNAP NAS) to ensure data security and availability.

* **System Administration:**
* Manage and administer SAP Business One (B1) ERP systems and integrate them with other business applications to streamline workflows.
* Oversee Microsoft 365 Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Active Directory synchronization, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across systems.

* **Continuous Improvement and Compliance:**
* Ensure IT and ERP systems adhere to industry standards and maintain data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Assist in the organization’s ISO certification process, ensuring IT infrastructure and ERP systems meet required standards.
* Drive the continuous improvement of ERP systems and IT infrastructure, recommending and implementing new technologies as appropriate.
* Maintain comprehensive asset and IT documentation, including proper tracking of changes and configurations.

* **Data Management and Reporting:**
* Oversee ERP data input, processing, and output, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
* Collaborate with internal teams to generate accurate and timely reports based on ERP data, supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning.
