Job Description:**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Position:** Senior ERP System Specialist

**Purpose:**

The Senior ERP System Specialist is responsible for the effective implementation and optimization of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, while ensuring the stability and security of the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. This role supports business operations through system integration, data management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Responsibilities:**

**I. ERP System Management (Oracle Focus):**

* Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of ERP systems to align with business requirements.
* Manage the complete ERP system lifecycle, including upgrades, patches, and security protocols.
* Develop custom solutions and integrate ERP systems with other applications and platforms.
* Design, develop, and implement tailored ERP solutions to meet specific business needs.
* Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
* Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to optimize efficiency.
* Provide comprehensive technical support, troubleshooting, and first-line assistance to end-users.
* Train and mentor end-users and junior ERP specialists to ensure effective system utilization.
* Remain current with the latest ERP features and industry trends to recommend system enhancements.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, finance, and other departments, to optimize ERP system performance and functionality.
* Prepare and deliver reports and analyses based on ERP data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
* Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configurations, customizations, and user manuals.

**II. Business Process Analysis:**

* Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, analyze processes, and identify areas for ERP system optimization to improve efficiency.
* Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage ERP development projects that align with organizational objectives.

**III. IT Infrastructure Support:**

* Assist in the planning, design, and configuration of IT infrastructure, focusing on optimizing system stability and performance.
* Maintain familiarity with Azure cloud services and Office 365 administration.
* Configure and troubleshoot network components, including firewalls (FortiGate), routers, Cisco switches, and servers.
* Oversee Virtual Private Network (VPN) configurations (SSL, IPsec) and Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) systems.
* Manage local on-premise servers (vSphere ESXI, Hyper-V) to ensure robust server performance and uptime.
* Administer core IT services, such as Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Group Policy, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), and other infrastructure components.
* Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools such as PRTG, proactively addressing identified issues.
* Maintain and optimize backup strategies (Veeam) and network storage solutions (QNAP NAS).

**IV. System Administration:**

* Manage and administer SAP B1 ERP systems and integrate them with other business applications.
* Oversee Microsoft 365 Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Active Directory (AD) synchronization to ensure seamless communication across systems.

**V. Continuous Improvement & Compliance:**

* Ensure IT and ERP systems adhere to industry standards and maintain data security and compliance.
* Support the organization’s ISO certification process, ensuring IT infrastructure and ERP systems meet required standards.
* Drive the continuous improvement of ERP systems and IT infrastructure, recommending and implementing new technologies as needed.
* Ensure assets and IT documentation are well-maintained, including proper tracking of changes and configurations.

**VI. Data Management & Reporting:**

* Manage ERP data input, processing, and output, ensuring data integrity.
* Collaborate with internal teams to generate accurate, timely reports based on ERP data for informed decision-making.
