Category Management Analyst provides insights and recommendations to optimize new product introductions, distribution, shelving, price and promotional mix by analyzing marketing and customer data.
Analyzes and assesses category/brand performance to develop enhanced marketing and sales plans and promotions.
Support the Category Manager in developing category management strategies in companywide perspective.
Analyze sales and profitability of assigned category through analysis of performance data.
Plan promotional activities and sales events for assigned categories.
Analyze business and market trends to recommend new strategies for increased sales.
Review business activities and provide feedback to management.
Develop all documentations related to category management and sales activities.
Work with account manager and category manager to create promotional initiatives to improve business.
Prepare customized reports and dashboards to management when needed.
Provide guidance to operations team to meet revenue goals.
Knowledge of relevant local regulations.
Attention to detail and strong follow up.
Strong communication skills, Arabic language is desirable.
Strong analytical skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Knowledgeable with all Office365 tools
Preferably has experience with a data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Python and SQL knowledge is a plus
