Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Agile Project Manager must be able to combine Avertra Corps project management practices with our agile development requirements and methodology. You will also assist the Director of Delivery with team management, planning, customer support, and process management. You will also be required to work with multiple business divisions and will be responsible for assigning work and getting the status of the work completed.

The chosen candidate must be residing in the US.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects
  • Adhere to Avertra Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Provide day-to-day customer liaison and be responsible for relationship management, project management and delivery 
  • Manage pipeline of multiple complex projects and work streams, ensuring teams are working to fully agreed resource allocation levels
  • Manage delivery of change through the Agile scrum processes
  • Assist in Avertra’s team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members
  • Support the Product Owner’s in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance
  • Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management
  • Prepare internal and customer reports 
  • Identify and manage risks 
  • Financial management, including project creation, time tracking and month-end processes to support the finance department 
  • Conduct risk analysis and develop a risk mitigation strategy
  • Conduct project profitability analysis
