Job Description :
Job purpose Responsible for handling our company’s bills and managing our accounts payable ledger. You will be tasked with receiving, opening, and logging invoices on the ledger, as well as other duties like bank reconciliation, accounts payable invoices and data entry, and expense report handling. Duties and responsibilities General ledger journal entries, credit card, and bank account reconciliation. Accounts payable invoices and data entry. Handling payments in an organized and timely manner. Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders. Cash payment and Receipt after approval payment. Register the collection of checks and bank transactions on the portal. Internal credit card reconciliation when required. Register sales tax, use tax returns, and withholding tax on the portal. Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed. Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business. Keeping informed about the latest developments in the finance industry. Ensuring imaging of invoice supporting documents is timely and accurately performed. Assisting with audit support as necessary. Assisting in streamlining the accounts payable process. Working with account receivable clerks and others to resolve account issues when necessary. Expense report handling and analysis.
Job Requirements :
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. 3-5 years of experience. Proficient in MS Office. Advanced abilities with Excel. Comfortable using a computer for various tasks beyond general accounting. Able to handle supervisory responsibility if necessary. Understanding of payments, accounting, and budgeting. Soft Skills Good command of English written and spoken. Creative problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while using good judgment.
