Job Description:**RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**

The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

* Ascertaining project requirements.
* Ensuring client needs are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
* Collaborating with internal teams to deliver projects and achieve results within agreed-upon deadlines.
* Managing issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
* Conducting initial site visits to verify the accuracy of as-built drawings and reconcile any discrepancies with the design.
* Collaborating with internal teams to perform value engineering as necessary, adhering to the client’s pre-set budget.
* Informing the Principal and General Manager of any unforeseen delays in the project timeline.
* Performing any other tasks as directed by the Principal and/or General Manager.
* Developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including tracking changes in plans, explanations for delays, and regular progress reports throughout the project duration.
* Ensuring the proper archiving of all project closure documents for future reference.
* Verifying the accuracy of as-built plans by comparing them to actual site dimensions.
* Coordinating with suppliers and lighting designers as required.
* Reviewing bills of quantities (BOQ), specifications, and cost estimates.
* Demonstrating flexibility, self-motivation, and teamwork, with the ability to work under pressure to meet stringent deadlines.
* Performing original design work based on specifications, sketches, and innovative ideas.
* Analyzing space utilization effectiveness and assessing evolving space needs.
* Recommending actions to meet new requirements.
* Assisting in the preparation of architectural plans for existing buildings where plans are unavailable.
* Conducting preliminary studies of proposed projects to gather information regarding space and design requirements, obtaining measurements, and creating preliminary sketches to facilitate drawing preparation.
* Providing support to architects and management staff.
* Collaborating with the team on concept, schematic, and design development, based on project scale.
* Generating presentation materials, including computer models, drawings, and precedent images.
* Managing project documentation delivery and maintaining project records, including meeting minutes and files transmitted via email.
* Producing design drawings in accordance with company standards and quality expectations.
* Meeting project criteria and delivering documents on time to meet deadlines.
* Meeting with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to review interior needs and identify the most suitable service providers.
