Job Description
Key responsibilities:
· Provide technical support in the following areas:
a, Security/risk assessment
b, Scenario planning, security plan development
c, Crisis/contingency planning
d, Other security-related functions
- Develop and update security deployment plans, business continuity plans, crisis management plans, policies, and procedures. This must be done following our best practices and ensuring implementation through the service provider.
- Advise and counsel management on employee and property safety and security-related matters.
- Investigate all safety, security, and risk management-related issues.
- Develop and facilitate security and safety training FM teams.
- Conduct training assessment with key stakeholders resulting in increased safety, security, and risk management capacity.
- Monitor security conditions, liaise and coordinate with external parties such as: private security, contractors, QCCD, CID , municipality , police forces, local governments, etc.
- Inspect the facility and identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures and hold routine inspections on all retailers and mall units (both leased and non-leased units).
- Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
- Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures.
- Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings.
- Ensure that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
- Maintain records of employee discharge and employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned and required.
Skills
- Must have 10+ years of experience in large-scale operation.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), any additional language is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent IT literacy skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong employee relations and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
- Valid qualification in occupational health, safety, and security.
- Candidate available in Qatar with transferrable visa is preferred.
