Position:Scrum Master
Job Description:
- Initiate and own scrum events for participating squads..
- Lead the efforts of developing Scaled Agile management best practices.
- Facilitate daily Scrum meetings and regular ceremonies.
- Plan upcoming sprints for a given project, including helping the team to reach a consensus for what can be achieved during the sprint.
- Monitor and report on sprints that are in progress.
- Communicate closely with delivery managers for alignment and planning updates.
- Collect and analyze related metrics for trends and indicators, facilitate iteration/increment planning, provide Agile coaching and mentoring at all levels within the organization.
- Works with the leadership team to strategically improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Agile processes
- Establishing SAFe Agile principles and Interfaces with other departments to ensure clear communication for in-progress and upcoming development activities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years experience as a Scrum Master.
- Hands-on experience in Scrum & Kanban methodologies
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) with experience in implementing any of scaled agile models.
- Ability to train and present demos for all teams about Agile.
- Solid understanding of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize, plan and resolve conflicts and escalations based on the project requirements.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent ability to track multiple development efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Facilitate and build team consensus.
- The ability to identify and eliminate roadblocks that team members may encounter during a sprint.
- Critical thinker, ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and maintain a positive attitude.
- Very good command of English (spoken and written)
