Job Description | Sales Manager – OTC
A Leading FMCG Company in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Sales Manager Position @ Riyadh / Jeddah to manage the sales and marketing operations of OTC Products.
The successful incumbent will be responsible to:
- Manage the OTC Product line at Country level, working with Distributor(s) in the Country and reporting to the Principal Office in the Region.
- Launch new OTC brands by identifying the market opportunities.
- Design the launching strategy and successful execution of launching activities in the Country.
- Managing key accounts hospital and pharmacy channels across Kingdom.
- Managing the sales operations and its distribution process, coordinating with Distributor’s sales & marketing team.
- Field visits to the pharmacies and stores to check the availability and visibility of product portfolio and sending regular reports to Principal Office.
- Coaching Medical Rep Teams to ensure message delivery and message retention.
- Monitoring the Sales and Operations Team effectively for better performance and optimum result by developing their sales capabilities.
- KEEs (Key Expert Engagement) and creating brand advocacy programs through KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders).
- Managing and implementing the sales strategies and programs to achieve sales objectives and increase market share.
- Building, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers (key accounts / hospitals / pharmacies) and Distributor(s).
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through more coverage, promotional activities, range extensions or merchandising changes.
- Budgeting, forecasting and inventory management.
Skills
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Science / Life Science; Diploma / Post Diploma in Marketing will be added advantage
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in managerial position(s) with people management role, especially managing Medical Representatives.
- Excellent managerial skills including negotiation, presentation and team management skills.
- Working relationship with Key accounts Hospitals and Pharmacy chains in KSA for OTC Businesses.
- KSA market experience is a must.
- Fluent in English and Arabic languages.
