Job Purpose
The main purpose of the Sales Engineer- Upstream job is to conduct various Marketing, Sales, and Procurement activities of ROG to the targeted group of Upstream activities in Saudi Arabia.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Visit rig managers / company man regularly.
- Visit Rigs and Drilling office facilities outside the Dhahran office including Abqaiq and Udhailiyah.
- Prepare the price evaluation document and bids as and when required with the coordination of Logistics and Finance Dept.
- Prepare and execute the supplier purchase orders against each customer purchase orders.
- Responsible for inventory management and order requisitions on time.
- Submit the daily visit reports, weekly progressive reports and monthly reports to the
management. - Responsible for own budget and P&L account.
- Monitor ROG stock position and replenish the stocks as and when required.
- Support ROG logistics / warehouse departments while importing the materials and inventory
control. - Work with the suppliers on warranty / product technical / commercial related issues, if any.
- Support the suppliers to arrange technical presentations and training to the drilling engineers, etc.,
- Work with Saudi Aramco procurement and end user department to complete the sales cycle and receive the payment on-time.
- Responsible for Centralizer software applications to Aramco engineers and increase the subsequent forecast and sales through timely execution and proper handling of any complaints and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with SA expeditors, dispatch unit, ROG Warehouse & Logistics Dept to deliver the materials in a timely manner.
- Identify the market gap for the potential products / services related to Upstream business and support management to identify the suppliers and introduce to Saudi Arabia and market them.
Skills
- Well fluency in English (Speaking, Reading & Writing) & Arabic is preferred.
- MS Office & ERP Supply chain Module.
- Trainings – in relevant field will be plus.
- Knowledge on computer.
- Good in negotiating skills.
- Good in following up the issues.
- Have Minimum 3 years experiences with Saudi Aramco Upstream Sales / Operations.
