Description
1.
Risk Management and Control Functions
Initiate document workflow processes and ensure unit departments following agreed quality documentation standards to ensure reporting standards are maintained
Conduct control testing within agreed parameters and apply controls to monitor compliance and assess unit operational effectiveness, record, track and monitor observations to drive closure of outstanding risks
Conduct assurance and due diligence reviews and ‘challenge’ sessions for risk assessments to ensure the ongoing quality of the units risk posture
Produce business focussed risk and control MIS and data to engage and inform the unit managers and the unit
Participate in industry regulatory certification activities (such as ISO 9001) to ensure unit compliance
Train the relevant unit staff to ensure awareness of the programme

Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (RC)
Assist in the development, documentation and monitoring of the unit’s BCP and DR posture and framework and assist business units to finalise functional recovery plans to support the unit’s business continuity objectives

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Minimum Experience
At least 3 years of experience in banking operations
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant specialisation
