At the moment we’re looking for Reservations Supervisor to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at InterContinental Abu Dhabi.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Monitor and check daily Reservation Agent’s bookings to ensure accurate set-up of room reservations in Opera System.
  • Ensure all incoming reservations from different channels such as: Telephone, Email, Website, Central Reservations System (CRS) On-line Travel Agencies are inputted, retrieved and replied daily.
  • Maximize productivity of Reservations Agents through consistent daily supervision and monitoring the volume of reservations processed per agent.
  • Improve Reservations Agents sales techniques and service to clients through constant coaching and training.
  • Ensure implementation of the key principles of Pricing Strategies and Revenue Management
    • FIT, Corporate, Package and Groups,
    • Rate Restrictions, hurdles, and availabilities
  • Ensure that Reservations Agents meets relevant productivity targets on call handling and conversion ratios for all products lines
  • Handle customer queries and complaints relating to Rooms Reservations
  • Identify Sales opportunities through individuals, Corporate Accounts, Wholesalers and Travel Management companies
  • To have a thorough knowledge in the operation of Opera Reservations System with main focus on inputting, retrieving and revising room reservations.
  • To give recommendations to Reservations Manager regarding annual performance appraisal of Reservations Agents.
  • Support the Reservations Manager with special projects as required

  • Minimum 2 years call-centre or hotel operations experience, minimum 1 year experience in supervisory role.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Advanced in writing and speaking English
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver and demonstrate InterContinental Hotels & Resorts service standards
