The incumbent is responsible for the comprehensive management of refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems throughout the complex, encompassing installation, operation, maintenance, and repair activities within diverse areas, including lounges, administrative offices, kitchens, cold storage facilities, public spaces, and ancillary structures. This role ensures the efficient and safe operation of all climate control and refrigeration systems, adhering to company standards and relevant legal mandates, thereby contributing to customer satisfaction and overall operational effectiveness. Specific responsibilities include: execution of preventative and corrective maintenance procedures on a range of systems, such as split air conditioning units, packaged units, chillers, freezers, cold rooms, and ice machines; assistance with the installation of new HVAC and refrigeration equipment; recommendation of system enhancements or replacements to optimize efficiency and energy conservation; meticulous record-keeping of maintenance operations, refrigerant utilization, and energy consumption; performance of leak detection, refrigerant charging, and system performance assessments in compliance with environmental regulations, specifically those concerning safe refrigerant handling; adherence to all health, safety, and environmental protocols, including those pertaining to refrigerants and electrical equipment; and collaborative teamwork, providing technical support during special events or periods of high occupancy.
