Job Description

  • Ability to carry out recruitment process full cycle including but not limited to: liaising with hiring managers, posting positions, screening CVs, arranging and conducting interviews, offering and on-boarding
  • Maintain strong awareness of the annual manpower/ recruitment plan and company objectives in order to assist business units to have the best talent in due course.
  • Interact closely with hiring division management to fully understand the context of the positions being recruited, the priority in which posts must be sourced and the competences required;
  • Maintain personal awareness of the internal candidates available, the external recruitment market and trends in order to identify and utilise the best options including internal advertising; posting on company website; use of search engines and / or specialist platforms; award to manpower agencies or executive search companies in order to identify and attract candidates;
  • Maintain strong personal knowledge of the company remuneration and benefits structure by close in order to be able to explain the company proposition in detail;
  • Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the immigration & visa formalities of the state of Qatar in order to be able to explain these to candidates and to estimate realistic recruitment time-spans;
  • Ensure that positions to be recruited are supported by the relevant supporting documentation.
  • Be personally proficient in recruitment techniques such as telephone, video-conference, individual, joint and panel interviewing and assessment centres and in ensuring that comprehensive interview records are kept which justify the final decision;
  • Ensure that candidates are respected and treated in a professional, sensitive and open manner.
  • Provide feedback to all successful and unsuccessful candidates and / or sponsoring Agencies in a courteous, professional and constructive manner;
  • Ensure that active vacancies are tracked and recorded so that progress status is available at all times, and that hiring reports are comprehensive and thorough.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate experience during the selection process.
