Job Description:This position entails comprehensive responsibilities for ensuring product quality through the design, implementation, and oversight of quality control systems. The incumbent will manage quality control personnel, providing technical guidance and performance evaluations, and identifying training needs to enhance staff skills. A primary focus will be to guarantee adherence to product specifications during all phases of production. This includes maintaining the availability of necessary measurement and inspection equipment, employing statistical analysis to evaluate product data, and collaborating with production management to address and mitigate product defects. Furthermore, the role encompasses the issuance of relevant documentation for in-process inspections, the supervision of all inspection activities, and the monitoring of customer returns to implement corrective action plans and improve key performance indicators. Adherence to the ISO 9001-2008 quality management system is mandatory, as is the maintenance and calibration of all testing equipment. The incumbent is expected to proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and minimize associated costs.
