The Quality assurance manager is responsible for managing the quality and food safety standards of food manufacturing.
Develop and review quality and food safety policies and procedures related to ISO 22000 & HACCP.
Perform Quality Audits and schedule inspections to assess compliance with food quality and safety standards.
Ensure documentation of Food Safety and Quality Assurance procedures, guidelines, and work instructions are reviewed regularly and updated to reflect changes as per business needs or changes in Quality standards.
Ensure implementation of the HACCP program and maintain all regulatory documentation for ensuring compliance.
Responsible for all tracking of KPIs associated with Quality.
Lead investigation of non-conformances and customer complaints to determine root causes, provide responses, and determine corrective and/or preventative actions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or Food Technology or Microbiology
- More than 10 years of technical experience in a similar role in Food Manufacturing
- Experience in the development or implementation of Food Safety Programs is preferable
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 9000, ISO 22000, and food safety inspection and management standards
