Purchasing Supervisor

Job Summary:

Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety 

Job Description:

Ø Responsible for contact with suppliers regarding new products, pricing and conditions of payment

Ø Constantly strive to provide new suppliers/sources to the company

Ø Maintain a daily purchasing control: orders, data entry and the cost

Ø Responsible for the cost system including charges, costs, and prices …..

Ø Checking the final clearing and freight invoices and send the confirmation for payment to the accounting department

Ø Study sales records and inventory stocks to forecast procurement needs

Ø Responsible to negotiate with suppliers about any change in orders, prices or in the business

Ø Responsible and accountable for the logistics for the sea and air shipments

Ø Able to evaluate suppliers and take the necessary reaction

Ø Organize periodically departmental meetings to improve the work

Ø Remain aware and weekly updated of the inventory stock list

Ø Responsible to follow the supplier targets with the sales and marketing manager in order to achieve it.

Ø Willing to travel upon request to attend conferences, and trade shows and meet with suppliers

Ø Verify the contents of received packages with the warehouse department

Ø To supervise and assist in the training of any new personnel

Ø Evaluates the performance of its subordinates

Ø Ensure all records are maintained in compliance with approved policies and procedures in the related process according to the quality management system standard

Ø Monitor, handle, and supervise all activities related to the quality management of the purchasing process.

Ø Respect and perform any task assigned by the manager not mentioned in the job description, contributing to improving the work.
