Job Description
- Understand the need of the requirement raised by the users.
- Communication with suppliers and request for quotations.
- Price evaluation of various offers and issue purchase order.
- Follow up for the delivery, verification of invoices for timely payment.
- Monitoring supplier performance.
- Developing and managing a strong local and international supply chain.
- Coordinating and managing multiple stakeholders and demonstrating the ability to build robust, long-term relationships and integrated teams.
- Developing the procurement strategy.
- Negotiate suppliers’ terms, conditions, and pricing.
- Explore alternate sources and evaluate supplier performance.
- Nominating agents for import shipment, follow up with the shipper for documents for local clearance activity.
Skills
- Should have bachelor’s degree with good communication skills and proficiency in Excel, word, PowerPoint and outlook.
- SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
- Minimum experience should be 3-4 years in procurement field from reputed company.
- Should have knowledge in import / export shipments handling, local clearance.
