The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Program Development and Accreditation Specialist in the Program Development and Accreditation Department. Reporting to the Academic Manager, Program Development and Accreditation, the successful candidate must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Department in fully implementing the University’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:  

The successful candidate will independently manage multiple projects to coordinate the revision and/or development of new programs, manage the development and assessment of school and program learning outcomes, and obtain and maintain external accreditation for a variety of programs. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the coordination, development, and documentation of all proposed program changes, including facilitating stakeholder input and validations, developing Preliminary and Comprehensive Program Proposals, and determining the impact of Curriculum Change Requests.
  • Conducting research on external accreditation bodies and their standards, providing support to Schools on interpretation of those standards, managing program accreditation processes including communication with accrediting bodies, managing the completion of accreditation self-studies, and coordinating accreditation site visits.
  • Managing the collection and documentation of the University’s Learning Outcomes Assessment program.
  • Participating in a variety of Curriculum Committees at the Program and School level and preparing progress reports for senior stakeholders.
