The production coordinator plays a key role in planning and executing production schedules, coordinating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure timely delivery of products.Responsibilities:Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the production process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring progress.Collaborate with various departments, such as procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.Create and maintain production schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and production targets are achieved.Monitor and track production progress, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.Coordinate and manage the procurement of raw materials and equipment necessary for production.Collaborate with the quality control department to ensure that products meet established standards and specifications.Implement and maintain production policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency.Train and supervise production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.Monitor and analyze production costs, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, making recommendations for process improvements and technological upgrades.Preferred Candidate:Minimum of 5 years of experience in production coordination or a related field.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proficient in the use of production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of production processes and techniques.Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.Experience in managing and supervising production staff.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements.
