Job Description:**The responsibilities of this role encompass the following:**
* Monitor and communicate market intelligence concerning trends, competitor pricing, and services, gathered through customer interactions and distribution channels.
* Conduct targeted sales calls, emphasizing product benefits, key selling points, pricing, and quotations, adhering to established sales scripts and strategies.
* Present product demonstrations, including in-operation trials with medical professionals.
* Prepare tender documentation and monitor the progression of technical reports.
* Liaise with the Supply Chain Department to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery to clients.
* Conduct follow-up meetings and calls to confirm on-time product delivery, satisfactory installation, and resolution of any customer complaints or suggestions.
* Manage the repair and exchange process for equipment.
* Attend departmental meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and business development functions to promote company products and enhance the overall corporate image.
* Submit monthly sales reports to the Line/District Manager, detailing weekly activities, progress against sales targets, collection follow-up, action plans, and requests for plan adjustments or pricing exceptions.
* Develop weekly coverage and visit plans, categorizing clients (private and governmental sectors) and optimizing routes for efficient coverage, subject to Line Manager approval.
* Collaborate with the organization’s collection function by monitoring payments, addressing late invoices, and providing data to support financial operations.
* Offer insights and recommendations for identifying and categorizing clients and prospects, aligning with the Marketing Department’s systems and Business Unit objectives.
* In select instances, internally track product delivery and personally manage the delivery of delayed or missing items, securing client sign-off in accordance with company policies.
* Provide support to clients in managing their on-site stock levels of company-owned consumables, monitoring consumption, and processing reimbursement orders.
* Respond promptly to customer needs and inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
* Disseminate pertinent market information to colleagues.
* Integrate marketing and technical expertise to oversee all facets of a product’s lifecycle within the organization.
* Collaborate in product development to enhance functionality and customer benefits.
* Ensure products meet customer requirements, analyzing market trends to inform marketing strategies.
* Implement short-term marketing strategies to stimulate sales and introduce products, including promotions and special offers.
* Collaborate with the marketing department to develop long-term product marketing strategies, incorporating market and trend analysis.
* Estimate product demand and ensure market-aligned pricing.
* Interpret market trends to identify required product changes or new product opportunities.
* Collaborate with marketing to define the long-term marketing strategy’s direction.
* Develop annual plans within the CRM system.
* Monitor customer interactions and opportunities documented in the CRM system on a daily basis.
Skills:
- University degree – Medical Background with the following sub categories (Pharmacy, Medical, Veterinarian, Science),
- Long – term training/coaching in Selling skills in the medical/pharmaceutical field,
- Good command in MS Office applications especially database,
- Good command of English Language (Written/Spoken),
- 0-4 years experience in the same/similar industry/Lines,
- 1-2 years in a similar position (Sales/Territory/Region Manager/Distribution),
- Preferably with Multinational company exposure
- Originating from Sales Management backgrounds,
