Job Description:• Develop detailed two-dimensional and three-dimensional models of sheet metal components utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, specifically SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Select optimal materials considering the balance of performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
• Ensure design conformity with established production processes, including stamping, bending, and welding.
• Develop prototypes and conduct comprehensive testing to validate functionality.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerance analyses.
Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
•Experience: 2–4 years in sheet metal product development.
•Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD); FEA knowledge is advantageous.
•Knowledge of sheet metal processes (stamping, bending) and tolerance analysis.
•Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
•Familiarity with industry standards and cost-optimization techniques.
