Job Description
A Reputable Company located in Beirut is seeking to recruit a Procurement Assistant.
Main Duties:
- Research and identify potential suppliers for goods and services required by the organization.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure they deliver goods and services according to the agreed terms and conditions.
- Communicate with suppliers about orders status, products, services, and resolve issues if it appears.
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement. Negotiate price changes with suppliers when costs fluctuate significantly.
- Ensure that all procurement activities are compatible with organization policies and relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide support to other departments with procurement-related queries and requests in coordination with the procurement manager.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or any relevant field.
- 2 plus years of experience in a related field, mainly in F&B industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High respect for ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Strong communication, time management, and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
