GENERAL DESCRIPTION
To develop the most appropriate method and sequence of project detailed activities, timeline, resources, milestone CPM and actual vs. planned reports in conjunction with the Project Manager, in order to ensure the project is completed timely, safely and on budget .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plans, organizes, and coordinates project(s) planning activities.
2. Selects the most appropriate techniques and logical sequence of activities to complete project scope.
3. Assigning accurate forecast; on time, resources and cash flow of the project.
4. Prepares technical reports that help in generating data for inputs to budgets.
5. Sets up alerts for all important project milestone dates.
6. Monitors progress periodically and compares it with the baseline planning.
7. Prepares the monthly/weekly progress reports/presentation.
8. Accumulates, collects and analyses data and information required for planning.
9. Designing, previewing and editing project time schedules.
TASKS
1. Monitoring the value engineering for the project.
2. Assist in preparing projects cash flow and required resources.
3. Liaising with the site personnel throughout the progress and making adjustments to projects as necessary.
4. Verifies critical paths for project plan and execution stages.
5. Providing support on the projects development of specific systems.
6. Monitors progress of project work to ensure completion on time.
7. Interacting with other personnel involved in project execution.
Skills
1. A BS in Civil or Construction Engineering. PMP is desirable
2. A minimum 8 years in construction, infrastructure and/or project planning
3. Excellent presentation skills
4. Strong analytical aptitude and design problem solving capabilities
5. Primavera experience is a must.
6. Attention to details and accuracy.
7. To handle work pressure and deadlines
8. Fluency in Arabic And English.
