Job Description
- Ensure YASREF processes, systems and performances meet the benchmark practices and bring extraordinary results in all functions. Study, recommend innovations and technological advancements.
- Develop short term/ long term plans to update Organizational Capabilities, create a Sustainable Future and introduce high performance culture. Stay abreast of the operational excellence best practices around the world, including planned and potential changes.
- Define and update the YASREF Operational excellence strategies, policies and procedures to ensure effective role in supporting company`s business requirements and operational priorities.
- Ensure that all operational excellence activities across the company are conducted in accordance to the pertinent policies and procedures.
- Instil operational excellence culture among YASREF Leaders & employees. Lead the change initiatives with humility and harmony, guide the departments to achieve the perfection in attaining high quality processes.
- Manage the operational excellence with the objectives of improving reliability, efficiency, cost optimization, profitability and safety.
- Advise managers, VPs and P&CEO on gaps and opportunities for improvement across the company.
- Coach the team on carrying out advanced data gathering and analysis for process mapping and other related OE undertakings.
- Ensure OE assessment team members receive relevant training and are equipped with skills/tools to conduct the assessment.
- Manage the external assessments and participate in national and internal excellence awards.
- Communicate to the OE statues and action plan with YASREF corporate management on regular basis.
- Lead business process re-design, change management processes. Identify various result criteria for excellence, benchmark and set result criteria.
- Ensure Quality models are introduced as per National & international benchmark practices, set objectives and instil the best practices in processes, systems, and policies.
- Drive and monitor operational excellence implementation and performance to achieve mature level in all areas.
- Support user organizations to identify and close operational excellence improvement opportunities and gaps.
- Develop and update operational excellence policies and procedures. Provide operational excellence awareness to all Yasref employees.
- Administer continuous improvement excellence programs, by evaluating existing processes, procedure and systems. Suggest solutions to fill the gaps. Share benchmark standards with departments and suggest improvement plans.
- Ensure various operational excellence programs are implemented as per the plan. Evaluate plan and implement excellence standards in processes and practices. Prepare training/awareness materials, train the departments/ teams/ employees through train the trainer programs.
- Monitor and track Business Process Improvement projects (Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma and other improvement programs) and coach/train improvement teams to implement the process.
- Identify development trends, targets, objectives, comparison, causes, and scopes and suggest corrective actions, improvement areas.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Vice President Manufacturing.
