Job Description:**Subject: Opportunities within the TSA Marketing and Customer Care Team**

TSA is currently offering three distinct entry-level opportunities within its Marketing and Customer Care team. Candidates are requested to review the descriptions for each role and submit an application for the position that most closely aligns with their skills, interests, and career aspirations. Please note that only one application per candidate will be considered.

**Available Positions:**

1. **Online Marketing Research Assistant:** This role is suited for individuals with strong analytical skills, an interest in market research, and the ability to contribute to the development of strategic marketing briefs.
2. **Online Content Marketing Assistant:** This position requires individuals with a passion for content creation, graphic design, and storytelling.
3. **Online Sales & Customer Care Process Analyst:** This opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in client interaction, CRM workflow analysis, and sales process optimization.

**Program Overview:**

TSA is seeking motivated individuals to contribute to a comprehensive review and expansion of its marketing strategies. Successful applicants will initially participate in a 3-5 day training program covering the fundamental principles of marketing. Selected individuals will then be offered a 1-2 month internship providing practical experience related to TSA’s specific marketing initiatives. Exceptional interns may be considered for part-time or full-time employment, subject to negotiation with company directors.

**Responsibilities of a Marketing Research Assistant:**

Interns will gain practical experience in the following areas:

* Conducting market research to identify potential clients in both domestic and international markets.
* Identifying potential international market opportunities.
* Testing marketing initiatives and hypotheses.
* Contributing to the development of marketing campaigns and writing creative briefs.
* Assisting in the creation of marketing materials, including social media content and presentations.
* Developing CRM processes and databases.
* Extracting and analyzing data to provide valuable insights.
* Monitoring trends in AI, technology, and contemporary marketing strategies.

**TSA Training Program:**

The training program will cover the following topics:

1. TSA’s business model and service offerings, highlighting competitive advantages.
2. TSA’s marketing strategies, encompassing market analysis and customer buying criteria.
3. Identification of primary and secondary markets, and evaluation of opportunity costs.
4. Overview of TSA’s future innovation and marketing plans.
5. Assessment of market risks, competitive landscape, and mitigation strategies.

The training program is designed to provide interns with:

* Structured learning modules with flexible scheduling options.
* Mentorship from industry professionals.
* Assessment and feedback to monitor progress.
* Introduction to AI trends and AI-assisted tools in the QS industry.

Skills:

06. Essential Skills (Based on Selection Criteria)

Candidates should demonstrate the following abilities:

  • Proficiency in English
  • Interest in subject area (with some evidence)
  • Strong communication (written and verbal)
  • Self-learner, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to ask thoughtful questions when needed.
  • Analytical thinking (ability to review processes and spot inefficiencies)
  • Creativity in brainstorming campaign ideas
  • Understanding of digital marketing (SEO, email marketing)
  • Willingness to learn sales/marketing principles
  • Basic data analysis (tracking KPIs, Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to draft professional emails and sales collateral
  • Willingness to learn marketing principles
     

Useful Skills or Experience:

  • Graphic design basics (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator)
  • Copywriting for ads, blogs, and drafts.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp) is a plus
  • Experience with paid ads (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
  • Video editing (for promotional content)
  • Previous internship or project in marketing
  • Knowledge of the construction/quantity surveying industry

 

07. Setting Up as an Online Specialist

  • A quiet workspace with reliable internet is essential.
  • Equipment requirements: A large laptop (15”+) is preferred.
  • Operating System: Windows 10 is required.
  • Availability: Candidates must be able to adhere to training schedules and deadlines.
