Job Description:**Subject: Vacancy: MEP Manager – Waterway Projects, Egypt**
Waterway, a prominent construction and development organization in Egypt renowned for its innovative and sustainable infrastructure projects, invites applications for the position of **MEP Manager** to oversee electromechanical construction and maintenance activities across multiple project sites in Egypt. **Position Summary:**
The MEP Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all electromechanical aspects of Waterway’s projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgetary constraints, and established quality benchmarks.
**Responsibilities:**
* Direct the planning, design, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems across all Waterway projects.
* Manage and coordinate MEP subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and relevant safety regulations.
* Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to guarantee optimal performance and compliance with Egyptian building codes.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to effectively integrate MEP systems into overall project designs.
* Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of MEP systems to maintain long-term functionality and operational efficiency.
* Address technical challenges and develop innovative solutions to maintain project progress.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety standards throughout all phases of project execution.
Skills:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in MEP management, preferably in large-scale construction projects in Egypt or the Middle East.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proven track record of managing electromechanical construction and maintenance activities.
- Strong understanding of Egyptian construction regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Engineering and project management software (e.g., Revit, Bim, Primavera, MS Project) and AutoCAD.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
