Job Summary
A versatile, motivated professional with the distinction of executing prestigious projects of large magnitude within strict time schedule, cost and quality; seeking assignments in Project Management / Construction Management with an organization of high repute, preferably in MEP industry.
Job Responsibilities 1
Principal Accountabilities
- Coordinates and controls all Project Site activities, maximizing the utilization of the Company Resources, while maintaining high levels of quality, achieving programme targets
- Oversees the day-to-day construction management of the project.
- Prepares, supervises and approves the development of PEP [from construction point of vie and its implementation plus ensuring Lessons Learned are properly documented throughout the life of the project including Project Close-out environment.
Job Responsibilities 2
- Monitors and supervises the activities of the Coordinators, Site Engineers, related supervisor staff and control of labor on the site.
- Implements the Project HSE Policy and Procedures.
- Ensures to carry-out the tasks identified by the Project Manager and support Project Manager in smooth progress and successful completion of Projects.
- Ensures that the Company policies, Quality procedures, statutory regulations and Project specifications are complied with.
- Ensures that the work is carried out as per approved drawings, materials submittals and method statement and procedure.
- Establish and maintain work environment required to achieve service conformity maintaining inspection and test status of at all stages.
- Manages the forecast requirements related to completion of the project on hand, inclusive of workers, materials and equipment.
- Reports to the Project Manager regarding the progress of the work and also if deviation occurred, in coordination with Project Planner.
- Manages the control of materials, equipment and all other properties at site.
- Directs completion of daily, weekly and monthly report of the Project to the management.
- Managers and directs the approval of all material requisition orders.
- Implements Quality Management System in the Project.
- Leads and directs the achievements of the Project objective and targets.
- Maintains records and documents as per Project Management.
- Manages the controls of externally hired plant.
- Ensures that the work is carried out in a non-hazardous and safe manner
Skills
Job Knowledge & Skills
• Good knowledge of Construction and MEP activities and Quality Management System
• Knowledge of building systems, energy technologies, green building and high performance design. Understanding of marketing strategy and market analysis techniques is a strong plus.
• Team-oriented, hands-on, highly skilled, adaptive, and client-focused
• Knowledge of MEP construction and subcontracting (electrical and controls preferred)
• Strong written and oral communication skills for customer interaction and report writing.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency, performance contracting, commissioning, BIM or green building is a strong plus, Proven track record on completing projects.
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
