Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will assist the Regional Sales & Marketing Manager in communicating with all insurance companies in the assigned region, identifying business Opportunities with uncontracted accounts, forecasting annual targets, monitoring monthly performance and reporting Market feedback.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Insurance Companies:
Assists the Regional Sales & Marketing with the following duties:
- Communicating with all insurance companies in the assigned region.
- Maintaining good relationship with key decision makers.
- Visit the insurance subsidiaries to increase awareness about Magrabi services to increase patients’ flow.
- Periodic review of insurance companies’ performance.
- Report market and competition feedback.
2. Direct Contracts
- Increase flow of patients from inactive accounts
- Identify business opportunities with uncontracted accounts
- Monitor performance monthly
3. Referrals
Targets the referring parties:
- Doctors in private clinics (Dental/Eye)
- Doctors in polyclinics
- Doctors in other hospitals
- Doctors or Optometrists in optical shops
- Visit the referring parties regularly to increase the flow of patients
- Forecast annual targets and visits’ plans
- Reports performance monthly
4. Charity Organizations
- Identify prospect charity organizations in his region
- Create contracts for uncontracted organizations with Magrabi Hospitals & Centers
- Increase patients flow from contracted organizations
- Monitor performance monthly
5. Reporting
- Visits report (monthly)
- Market feedback (monthly)
- Performance report (monthly)
6. Special Events
In coordination with the Sales & Marketing Manager, he/she will:
- Plan Magrabi’s participation in the annual events like the World Sight Day. World Diabetes Day, World Glaucoma Week. National Day and White Cane Day, etc.
- Plan and execute school and main accounts visits providing health awareness and screening of vision impairment as part of the regional corporate social responsibility plan.
Skills
Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required
- Bachelor degree of medical nature,
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in Sales/Marketing (Eye/Dental)
- Working knowledge of Marketing and Public Relations policies and procedures.
- Practical experience in hospitals is desirable
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS office programs
