Job Description:**Mechanical Technician Position – Jeddah**

Aggreko, a global leader in providing energy solutions that enable business growth and community development, seeks a qualified Mechanical Technician for our Jeddah location. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliable and safe operation of our assets through the diligent execution of planned maintenance programs.

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform mechanical servicing activities and comprehensive equipment maintenance in accordance with established operating procedures and work instructions, encompassing A & B service, green carding/post-contract assessment, pre-delivery inspection, engine fault finding/repair, and preventative maintenance.
* Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics as required.
* Assist with site installations (according to designed layouts), commissioning, and decommissioning, adhering to Aggreko standards.
* Provide timely technical support for field equipment breakdowns, both during and outside of standard working hours, as needed.
* Ensure the punctual and standardized completion of equipment repairs within agreed-upon budgets, both for specific repairs and overall department budgets.
* Adhere to Global Service Centre Standards (GSCS) within the working environment at all times.
* Uphold Aggreko’s commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental protection by actively complying with all relevant policies, procedures, and local legislation, and by ensuring the completion and validity of all required QHSE training and objectives.
* Perform other duties as assigned that are essential for effective operations and service delivery.

**Qualifications:**

* Saudi National
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications/experience.
* Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in the mechanical field; experience in operation and maintenance of diesel/gas generators and their auxiliaries is highly desirable.
* Experience with Diesel Engine OEM, Rental Power Company, or Utility maintenance comprising DG sets, chillers, etc.
* Proven troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to interpret electrical drawings.
* Availability for travel as required.
* Valid local driver’s license.
