Mechanical Sales Engineer to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This posting is only for applicants currently residing in Saudi Arabia (preferably Riyadh).
Seeking individuals with a degree in Mechanical Engineering having 5-10 years of experience in the field of water management in areas such as pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, water meters and associated products with excellent sales and interpersonal skills.
The selected applicants will be based in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. The job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Generating and qualifying sales leads using direct sales techniques including visiting, telemarketing, and cold calling.
- Responding to sales inquiries promptly and developing leads into sales opportunities.
- Maintaining records of all sales calls including visit reports.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities in line with company’s strategies and goals.
- Making appointments and visits both in designated areas and outside designated areas.
- Activity requires five days in the field for face-to-face meetings and one administrative day per week.
- At least 5 years experience in the same fields preferably in consulting engineering firms/Contractor execute in water pumping stations, firefighting with experience in Design and tendering.
- Experience in the preparation and submission of tenders, quotations and proposals.
- An ability to discuss and understand requirements of consultants and client.
- An ability to deal with suppliers for the procurement of materials.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and & excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and, PowerPoint.
- Willingness to discover and develop.
- Friendly, polite, positive attitude exhibiting good behavior and conduct.
- Able to Travel within the country and throughout the GCC when required.
- Manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Holder of a valid driving license in his current country of residence.
- Ability to motivate and energize fellow team members.
- Will be judged and compensated according to results.
- Ability to tackle diverse customer base.
- Ability to communicate effectively with excellent written and oral skills.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
