Marine Mechanic

A reputable marine services company in Doha, Qatar is seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in marine mechanical repairs and maintenance. This position requires a strong knowledge of marine engines, systems, and components, as well as the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues. The Marine Mechanic will be responsible for performing repairs, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring the proper functioning of marine vessels. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on marine engines, systems, and components.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and develop effective solutions.
3. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
4. Ensure the proper functioning of marine vessels, including propulsion systems, electrical systems, and navigation equipment.
5. Collaborate with other members of the marine services team to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
6. Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts inventory.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
8. Stay updated on the latest advancements in marine technology and repair techniques.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in marine mechanical repairs and maintenance.
2. Strong knowledge of marine engines, systems, and components.
3. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
