Job Description:**Assistant Chief Engineer Job Description**

The Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the hotel to ensure a superior Guest and Member experience. This includes proactive maintenance checks, timely repair of mechanical equipment, and the effective coordination of renovation projects and emergency programs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Address and resolve all maintenance issues within the hotel.
* Conduct daily inspections of the hotel premises to identify and address potential maintenance needs.
* Perform lift emergency release procedures as required.
* Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment throughout the hotel.
* Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain all hotel fixtures and fittings in a safe and functional condition, addressing any unsafe situations promptly.
* Develop, implement, and direct all hotel emergency programs.
* Develop, implement, and manage energy conservation programs to minimize operational expenses.
* Coordinate the renovation bidding process, define project scope and budget, and oversee general contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost-effectively.
* Undertake special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
* Ensure the health and safety of all hotel guests and staff.
* Conduct monthly safety inspections and ensure that all employees receive appropriate safety training.
