Job Description:**Responsibilities:**

* **Subordinate Supervision:** Organizes and oversees the activities of a team of subordinates within a specified mechanical area, ensuring efficient and procedurally compliant work execution.
* **Policy Implementation:** Implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures, and instructions; monitors subordinate adherence to ensure controlled work practices.
* **Operational Oversight:** Supervises daily mechanical maintenance operations to guarantee adherence to established policies, processes, and procedures.
* **Maintenance Prioritization:** Prioritizes plant equipment maintenance and repairs.
* **Employee Management:** Schedules, trains, supervises, and motivates maintenance department personnel.
* **Repair and Installation Management:** Plans and oversees all repair and installation activities.
* **Procedure Development and Implementation:** Develops maintenance procedures and ensures their implementation.
* **Facility Inspection:** Conducts facility inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
* **Spare Parts Procurement:** Places orders for spare parts and equipment, ensuring proper documentation for availability.
* **Continuous Improvement Contribution:** Contributes to identifying opportunities for continuous system, process, and practice improvement, considering international best practices, business process enhancement, cost reduction, and productivity gains.
* **Subject Matter Expertise (SME):** Contributes to minimizing production losses and reducing expenses by aiding in loss identification, leading/participating in pillar activities, and identifying, measuring, and achieving departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* **Activity Implementation Support:** Supports the implementation of all Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities as per job requirements.
* **Quality Assurance:** Contributes to, assesses, and evaluates the quality of One Point Lessons (OPLs) and Kaizen projects executed by taskforce members; ensures achievement of monthly targets.
* **Reporting:** Prepares timely and accurate reports to meet organizational and departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
* **Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):** Monitors adherence to relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, high-quality product/service delivery, and responsible environmental stewardship.
* **Additional Duties:** Performs other related duties as directed.
