Job Description :
Role Purpose:The Stock Management Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and data as well as supporting store operations such as safety, inventory shortage, cash handling, and theft. Key Responsibilities:Conduct periodic and ad-hoc safety inspections, regular location audits, and inventory store activities (receiving, cycle counts, transfers, damages, cash count, reservations…) to identify risk areas and procedural deficiencies and prevent theft by shoplifters, vendor representatives, delivery personnel, and store employees.Audit periodically and during end-year closure, cycle counts conducted by external Audit to ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported in compliance with company policies and procedures; reconcile and update the inventory reports submitted to the external auditors and management.Validate the accuracy of inventory records and financial inventory reports including but not limited to inventory movement, shrinkage, obsolete items, depleted assets…Monitor and verify proper functioning of physical security systems such as CCTV, alarm systems, access control, and other key areas in stores and warehouses, and confirm compliance with established safety policies, procedures, and standards, and the implementation of accident prevention techniques.Reconcile and Validate invoices for payment in relation to Loss Prevention.Assist in conducting internal and external investigations as and when needed and maintain documentation and handle related reporting and corrective follow-up.Coordinate and participate in the training of Cashiers and Stock Keepers in all areas of loss control including shortage, cash, safety, checks, health, and safety disaster management.
Job Requirements :
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; Finance /Accounting is a plus0-2 years of experience in Inventory, LP, or related field; exposure in retail is a plusExperience in Inventory software is a plusFluency in English / French is a plus
