Job Description
<b>JOB PURPOSE </b>
<br />Support the development of network topology, optimization of network functioning and design and implementation of network solutions whilst ensuring network security.
<br />

<b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</b>
<br />
<b>Strategic Planning</b>
<br />o Maintain awareness of the strategy planning process.
<br />o Maintain knowledge of new and existing KPI requirements as an individual employee.
<br />·
<b>Corporate Performance Management</b>
<br /> o Achieve the goals/objectives of the function/functional tower.
<br />
<b>FUNCIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES</b>
<br />· Design and implement LAN and WAN based on the latest technologies and Security standards.
<br />· Document all network hardware, software and communication links across EDGE and its entities.
<br />· Support the configuration of network services internally and those integrated with Internet-based services.
<br />· Assist with the administration of network systems and servers, to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
<br />· Install and configure networks across the company and its entities.
<br />· Support the company with IP Telephony related implementations and support.
<br />· Manage the group buildings with wireless coverage and replace faulty access points.
<br />· Ensure the accurate implementation of patch management using automation tool sets.
<br />· Resolve any problems that arise with computer networks and systems.
<br />· Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, latency, etc.) and highlight an
<br />· Support the management of network/ server services and documentation.
<br />· Inspect communications room status (access control, lighting, cleanliness, UPS, temperature sensor, earthling, cooling, etc.)
<br />· Maintain network security devices – Firewall/ VPN gateway/Email gateway/Network access control.

<br />Requirements
<br />
<b>Bachelor’s degree</b> in information technology or a related field
<br />
<b>UAE nationals</b>: Minimum
<b>3-5 years</b> of experience in IT Networks or related work experience
<br />
