Job Description
We are looking for an IT Manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. The person will supervise the implementation and
maintenance of our company’s computing needs.
Manage information technology and computer systems
Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
Audit systems and assess their outcomes
Preserve assets, information security and control structures
Annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
Running regular checks on network and data security
Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
Manage ERP system upgrades and troubleshooting with third party’s for support
Skills
Candidates with 7 plus years of experience in hardware and software from large organizations preferred
Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
