Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, a preopening hotel, is looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The Holiday Inn & Suites at  Dubai Science Park will include 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities. 

Reporting to Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a active housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms and hotel spaces are cleaned to the highest standard in line with our IHG Clean Promise. Cleanliness has always been critical in hotel operations and in the current climate the housekeeping department plays a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing of our guests. You will manage the daily housekeeping operations of rostering, room allocations and inspections in line with business needs. It is essential that you and the team you lead have eye for detail and strong sense of purpose in the role you play in ensuring we provide our guests a prefect room every time and deliver memorable guest experiences. Managing workplace health and safety, supplier relationships and maintaining exemplary collaboration with other hotel departments is all part of your day to day. 

Previous experience in a similar role within a professional hotel environment and in a similar size property • Strong organisational skills, time management and ability to manage spontaneous requests • Experience in workforce management with rostering in line with hotel activity and manning forecasts • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with varied audiences • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers and suppliers • Sound knowledge of risk management and health and safety best practices • Pre-opening experience is advantageous.
