As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic you will maintain assigned trucks, ships, and related surface cabin equipment in accordance with operating specifications.
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

Welding, painting and refurbishing equipment.

Conducting mechanical inspections using moderately complex diagnostic equipment.

Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.
-
Analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems.

Maintains records and scheduling maintenance of equipment.
-
Maintaining equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.
-
Inspecting and dispositioning of parts and equipment.
-
Ensuring compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
-
Technical diploma or 4+ years maintenance related experience in heavy diesel equipment
-
Have ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.

Have knowledge on hydraulic circuits and ability to troubleshoot faults.
-
Be proficient in the use of multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers and other basic instruments.

Have basic level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems.

Have advanced computer skills.
