Job Description:**Head of Sales, Core Training Services (EMEA)**

**Position Summary:**

We are seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Head of Sales for Core Training Services to spearhead and augment our market presence within the assurance and certification training sector. This pivotal leadership position entails responsibility for the formulation and execution of the sales strategy across the EMEA region, the generation of revenue expansion, and the cultivation of a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive industry expertise and a verifiable history of success in sales leadership roles within professional services, certification, or allied industries.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **Strategic Resource Deployment:** Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Core Training Services, aligned with global business objectives and regional market opportunities.
* **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Collaborate with cross-functional, regional, and global teams to identify new market segments, propose innovative products or services, and enable teams to adapt to evolving opportunities.
* **Revenue Generation:** Identify and secure new sales opportunities through close collaboration with the Client Management team, expand existing client relationships, and cultivate strategic opportunities with Local and Key Account clients to achieve revenue targets.
* **Revenue Retention:** Minimize sales cancellations through collaboration with the Client Relationships team, improve the client experience via efficient sales handovers, and cultivate enduring relationships.
* **Team Leadership and Development:** Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity. Utilize performance metrics and data-driven coaching to facilitate individual and team success.
* **Market Intelligence:** Monitor industry trends, client requirements, and competitive offerings to position our training solutions as market leaders. Provide strategic insights to EMEA leadership regarding service innovation and market expansion.
* **Sales Operations:** Optimize sales processes, CRM utilization, forecasting methodologies, and reporting mechanisms to ensure operational efficiency. Promote a metrics-driven culture focused on lead activities and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* **Interdepartmental Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and consistent brand communication across the region. Leverage training market acumen to align core training solutions with broader System Certification sales efforts and support enterprise sales teams in differentiating our value propositions.
* **Budget Management:** Effectively manage regional sales budgets to maximize Return on Investment (ROI).
* **Compliance:** Ensure all sales activities adhere to industry standards, regulations, and company policies, upholding the highest ethical standards.
* **Reporting:** Provide accurate and regular updates on sales forecasts, pipeline health, activity levels, conversion rates, and overall performance to senior management.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

* Extensive experience in progressive B2B sales, with proven senior sales leadership roles within assurance, certification, inspection, or professional services.
* Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and achieving substantial revenue growth within the EMEA region.
* Proven experience in managing and developing geographically dispersed sales teams.
* Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills with a focus on high performance.
* Comprehensive industry knowledge of assurance, certification, management systems, sustainability reporting, and supply chain assurance, coupled with familiarity with regional regulations.
* Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (verbal and written).
* Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
* Ability to understand and adapt to diverse cultural and business contexts within the EMEA region.
* Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional regional languages is preferred.
* Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the EMEA region, with travel expectations around 50% of working time.
