Job Description :
Head of Finance & AdministrationManaging financial reporting for GRID. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 5 year financial plans and all statutory financial reportingProvide sound financial support and insights to enable GRID to make business decisionsPresentation of financial results and insights to the GRID director.Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organization and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist adviceManaging and overseeing the cash flow of the GRID and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controlsManaging the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standardsManaging and overseeing the company’s bankingManaging and overseeing the company’s financial systemsInvestment appraisal and analysisPresenting results to non-finance people to understandRecruitment, training, mentoring and development of staffOverseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions.Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in placeOverseeing commercial decision making from tender analysis, margin analysis, pricing analysis etc.Advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costsAdvising on market changes and providing strategic financial recommendations to the GRID directorManaging and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax informationReview all formal finance, HR, and procurement related policies and procedures
Job Requirements :
Minimum of 8-10 years of related experience, including 5 years of management level experience. Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.Experience in Egyptian Finance Taxation, Finance governance laws & finance practices.Experienced in organizational leadership with demonstrated ability to achieve organizational goals.Willingness to work independently and in a team leadership framework with demonstrated skills in effectively leading and participating in strategic planning.Entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated through prior experience working in start-up like environments building new teams or programs and/or flexibility in the face of rapidly evolving scope of work and new challenges.Flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administrative initiatives.Bachelor’s degree (or Higher) in business, business administration, finance or directly related field from an accredited college or university.Knowledge of, and ability to apply, diversified financial management skillsAbility to communicate effectively in brief, focused and well organized oral and written presentations.Ability to establish work priorities and provide follow through to insure completion of activities, both personally and in subordinates.
