Job Description:The individual will be responsible for the following:

Curriculum design and implementation aligned with established standards; ongoing curriculum evaluation; fostering student engagement through tasks promoting analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, tailored to individual needs and skill levels; leading research and development related to curriculum, instruction, activities, and pedagogical advancement; evaluating and refining the planning process; conducting regular evaluations of lesson plans and classroom observations; advocating for, facilitating, and monitoring alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment to achieve established goals, objectives, and standards; establishing and managing a system for the evaluation and selection of unbiased instructional materials that meet curriculum standards; reviewing and approving teachers’ selections of supplementary materials and customized booklets; collecting and reviewing weekly lesson plans, providing constructive feedback to teachers; analyzing assessment results and developing remedial plans; reviewing course syllabi at the start of each academic year; maintaining the confidentiality of records and information obtained through professional duties; ensuring fair, consistent, and encouraging staff supervision and evaluation procedures in accordance with school policy; supervising staff to guarantee fulfillment and exceeding of responsibilities; establishing grading policies and selecting appropriate evaluation categories; reviewing instructional and grading policies, procedures, and standards to ensure grade-level consistency; monitoring and reporting benchmark exams, standardized tests, and comparative data related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, teaching, and improvement, submitting findings to the vice principal.
