The College of the North Atlantic – Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Graphic Artist in the Marketing and Public Relations Department. Reporting to the Marketing and Events Section Head, the Graphic Artist must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Marketing and Public Relations Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

The beautiful and culturally progressive State of Qatar is home to a robust TVET higher education institution, College of the North Atlantic – Qatar (CNA-Q). Established to meet the ambitious and visionary goals of the State of Qatar, CNA-Q is a partnership between the State of Qatar and the College of the North Atlantic in Canada. Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will support in the creation of print and digital publications and designs to communicate the College image and messages to audiences on and off campus in support of strategic marketing and communication goals.
The successful candidate will Conceptualize, design, produce and execute visual communication strategies, including logos, promotional items, special-event materials, brochures, catalogues and advertising in alignment with College identity standards to ensure consistent messaging. S/he will assist in the layout and design of corporate materials (Annual Reports, Academic Calendar, Student Handbooks, College View Book, Schools Programs Guides, newsletters, etc.) and event promotion materials.
Responsibilities also include updating CNA-Q website and social media platforms to ensure the College’s online presence is effectively maximized, coordinate the print production of marketing communication materials in line with strategic initiatives and CNA-Q visual brand identity and Maintaining digital databases of design items and materials to ensure ease of access.
The Graphic Artist will also assist in the copy-writing and proof-reading for advertisements and other promotional material and provide input and direction for non-print marketing, including video and photos to ensure creativity, accuracy and attainment of marketing messaging goals.
Candidates will also develop and maintain brand elements, design and visual style guidelines to ensure compliance with the College’s branding standards and liaise with vendors to obtain cost estimates for projects.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field required
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Marketing, or related field
Fluency in written and spoken English & Arabic language

Enthusiastic and ambitious team player with a strong marketing awareness and exceptional creativity skills. Proactive can-do attitude to work and good time management is essential. The ability to think analytically and solve problems is required. Commitment to positive relationship building and effective working relationships across all levels of the organization is required. Knowledge of Marketing, Branding and Positioning is required. Knowledge of Graphic Design, Content Development & Copy writing is required. A Commitment to ongoing training and continuous professional development is required. Candidates should demonstrate explanatory communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Arabic language is required.
