Job Description
The role holder is responsible for identify strategic transformation in alignment with STC Growth strategy. Also he responsible for enhance perception through analysis and counsel, in relation to the regulator. And support with BoD members requirements on key regulatory risk and engagements needs. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedure
• Acts as an advisor providing expertise in the development of regulatory internal & external agenda to ensure alignment with STCs’ commercial & technical strategy. • Advise on the development of STC’s positioning on ICT policy matters. • Act as an advisor, providing expertise in regulatory risks and management imperatives, to be able to manage all regulatory risk activities. • Advise on the development of advocacy plans and implementing advocacy activities on specific telecom regulatory decisions as well as regulatory framework. • Provide expertise on the development of comprehensive National and International Relations strategy in conjunction with Regulatory agenda. • Guide in the development of strategic regulatory perspective on key emerging topics and upcoming market dynamics supporting the “D” pillar in STC’s DARE strategy (focus areas: Cloud, Big Data, Data Privacy, Media, IoT, etc.) • Define STC’s position for key identified high-impact consultations and prepare solid argumentation with evidence and benchmarks. • Assist in leveraging regulatory strategy across STC BUs, local subsidiaries, to increase effectiveness and collaboration within the wider group. • Provide advices, argumentations and deep dive analysis on strategic regulatory risk. • Support in the advocacy activities with global bodies and organizations (ITU, GSMA, WEF,B20 etc.)
