Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, a preopening hotel, is looking for a talented Front Office Manager to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The Holiday Inn & Suites at Dubai Science Park will include 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.
Reporting to Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the Front Office Department, and that all important first impression our guests receive when they walk through the front doors. You will be passionate about delivering a memorable service experience, and crafting a workplace culture that enables your team to do the same. You will thrive in a past paced, dynamic environment – always looking for that extra edge to wow our guests. You will get a buzz out of effectively managing and collaborating with your key internal and external stakeholders and balance that with your forward thinking, innovative leadership practices. Your warm and approachable manner makes you a brilliant mentor for your up and coming Front Office Talent.
Previous experience in a similar role within a professional hotel environment and in a similar size property or an Assistant Department Head title for at least two years. You will be skilled in workforce management and planning, be comfortable interpreting a P&L and know where to look to gain efficiencies without affecting employee engagement or guest sentiment. You will have worked in a metric based organization and be comfortable leading a team to deliver on these through a robust but open and fair performance cycle. You are keen to keep the focus on your own development and in doing so drive a continuous learning environment in your team and wider hotel. Most importantly you know the importance of a warm and inviting experience for our guests and employees and will be able to show us how you will create that in this beautiful newly built hotel in Dubai. Pre-opening experience is advantageous.
